MISSGUIDED WANT LIST

Sunday 10 July 2016
So I'm back again! I told you I'd be uploading more haha!

Today I'm going to put together an outfit, using the Missguided website. I absolutely adore Missguided as I think it's such a reasonably priced clothing website. The quality is still really good and I know that I can always find something that I want or like. Delivery service and prices are also really good and generally reliable. The price for next day delivery is usually around £1.99 which I think is a bargain! As well as this, they also offer student discount!! How good is that? In my opinion, it's definitely one of the best clothing websites out there at the moment and I completely understand why it is so popular! As I am currently writing this, they have 50% sale so make sure you go and check that out, they have some amazing things!

So... let's get on with the post!

1. Tie neck swing dress multi- £20
I love this dress! I think it's perfect for summer and can easily be paired up with anything,

2. Paisley print scuba a line orange skirt- £12
I also adore this skirt. It's very me, in the summer time I live for patterned skirts or shorts as I find them so easy to wear, yet they still look good.

3. Lace up barely there heeled sandals tan- £25
I am currently in love with tan and brown shoes, they look so stylish and can be worn and paired with almost everything.

4. Floral print floaty shorts- £15
Like I said, during the summer I love patterned shorts and skirts, they are my go to's!

5. Petite black ruffle bardot top- £10
This crop top matches with the skirt and shorts perfectly! I think its super cute and would also go with anything.

6. Ribbed short sleeve bardot black top- £6
If you aren't into crop tops, this top would also match perfectly with skirt and shorts! It's very wearable and can be used all year round.

7. Silver feather clutch bag- £25
I absolutely love this bag! I think it's so different, I've never seen anything like it before. This is a statement piece to an outfit.

8. Black duffle bag- £25
This bag is so practical, it looks like a great everyday bag! It seems like it could be paired with anything. I reckon it's a must have on my next order.

9. Black pyjama set- £30
Well, what can I say about this pyjama set? They so remind me of the pyjamas that Little Mix wore in the Hair video. I must admit I've been on the hunt for similar pairs as I loved them. They look so comfy and why not look fashionable for bed?

Do you love missguided? What's your favourite things you have from them?

Thank you so much reading! Let me know what you think.

Little update!

Hello everyone, it's been a while!!

As you may have noticed it's been a long time since I last uploaded a post, so I'm sorry about that. I have just been so busy lately!! I recently took my GCSE's and I have to say it was one of the most stressful parts of my life so far. I know it's nothing compared to those studying at sixth form/college or even university. But, I still have those to come! I finished secondary school forever and this upsets me so much as I will miss it lots :( I was always the type of person that thoroughly enjoyed school, crazy, I know.

Following from this, I've been busy attending sixth form and college taster days in order of helping me have a clearer understanding on what to expect from A levels. One thing that I really learnt is that I'm completely hopeless with public transport! I have no idea on bus timetables, I see them as the most confusing things ever!!! Hahaha! Do you feel my pain?? I don't understand how they can schedule for a bus to come yet they may never turn up (may I add this happened to me quite a lot of times!!)

As well as this, me and my friends have seen this time off as an opportunity to make our summer the best! It's crazy to think that maybe this time next year things will not be the same. Since I'm someone who tends to stress and panic quite a bit, I always try and block off thoughts about the future as I'm scared of what may happen. Do you ever feel like that? We are enjoying lots of long walks, little shopping sprees and get together's!

Not to forget that since the last time I wrote a post, I have seen Little Mix twice and The Vamps! Oh and I can't forget to mention that I met Perrie, but that's a story in itself that you may have seen me tweet about! I might even do a post about it at some point...

Back to recently though... I'm writing this on the day that the post will go up and it has been my prom this week. Personally, I was quite dreading prom but I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It was so exciting as I had my makeup done at MAC and they were of course amazing! I do plan on doing a post about this soon on the products I chose to get etc so I don't want to go into too much detail! IF ANY OF MY FRIENDS ARE READING THIS, YOU LOOKED AMAZE AT PROM!!

I think I best stop rambling here...
I just wanted to say, expect a lot more posts from me! I'm going on holiday soon and I plan on doing a few little posts about that.

Have you had your prom?
Did you go see Little Mix or The Vamps on tour? If so, what did you think?

Thank you so much for reading! Make sure to check out and follow my twitter;

Manhattan Soft Mat Lip Creams - Review & Swatches!

Friday 12 February 2016
Hey guys! Today I have a new lip product to review for you. I picked up these Manhattan lip creams as a recommendation from my friend Katie, who also has a blog that you should check out- http://thebeautystorm.blogspot.co.uk/ . I got these soft mat lip creams from poundland, so obviously they were only £1. I picked up 2 shades which I thought would suit me best!

The top one is in the shade 95M and the bottom in the shade 95G.

I personally found that 95M was a good dupe for MAC Velvet Teddy! It's a good nude beige-brown with a slightly pink undertone. It is very easy to apply, they dry extremely matte. It has a very good pigmentation, which I was surprised by! A downside would be that I found it wasn't very hydrating and made my lips quite dry. But for the price I think they are really good. (Bottom swatch)

With 95G I thought this was also a good dupe for MAC Yash! I love Yash by MAC and I wear it almost everyday, so to find a dupe for it was really good. Again, this liquid lipstick was very pigmented and easy to apply- obviously drying matte! I found that this shade was warm with a slightly orange undertone. (Top swatch)

Overall, I am impressed by these matte lip creams and for the price they are great and more importantly affordable! I would suggest applying a good layer of lip balm before application of the lip cream as I've found that it helped with the lasting power and the hydration. I will definitely be trying more by this brand as I've found you can purchase it from FragranceDirect

Have you tried these? Any similar recommendations? Are you a fan of liquid lipsticks or do you prefer a normal lipstick?
Let me know what you think! Thanks for reading.

I'm back! Drugstore haul!

Saturday 6 February 2016
Hi guys! I've not posted in a while due to having mock exams, Christmas and all around just being busy! However, I am back now and going to be posting as often as I can.

Recently, I've been getting into drug store shopping a lot more, as I feel like the quality of the make up has really improved- sometimes it's even better than the high end products! I find that it's all really affordable, and there's a great variety. I definitely do prefer shopping in Boots I have to say! This is mainly because I use my advantage card a lot and feel that this helps benefit me. I've been collecting these over a few weeks now, while also trying some out as some are new products and some are what I've just seen people hyping about! Also apologies for how orange I look in these pictures, I went a bit over board on the fake tan.

1. This is the L'oreal 'INFALLIBLE SCULPT' contour palette in the shade 01 Light/Medium. This palette is great as it has both a contouring shade as well as a highlighting shade and is really practical for travelling because it has a small mirror in the lid. I purchased this from Boots as they currently have an offer on 2 for £12 on selected L'oreal products. This contour palette is new to L'oreal and was designed by Mario Dedivanovic who first brought contouring to out attention through Kim Kardashian. I've tried this out and I really like it and think its such a good palette for the price, it will definitely be a product I use daily.

2. I bought this product due to seeing others hyping over it, so I thought I would try it. This is the Max Factor CC Colour Corrector in yellow under eye. I recently tried out this product and was really impressed, it cleared all the dark circles under my eyes and make them look more awake. I bought this in Boots for £8.99.

3. This is the Soap and Glory 'SEXY MOTHER PUCKER' gloss stick in the shade bashful. It is a really pretty pink shade, that isn't too intense. I find these gloss sticks really moisturising and not drying in the slightest. ( I was unable to find a link to this online, sorry!)

4. As a recent lover of drug store foundations, the one I always end up going back to is the L'oreal INFALLIBLE in the shade 120 Vanilla. This is my favourite foundation from the drug store as it suits my skin really well and has just the right amount of coverage. I think it's very affordable and 100% percent worth the money. I bought this from Boots for £9.99 on the 2 for £12 offer!

5.  I was browsing in Next with my mum when I came across this NYX roller ball eye-shadow in the shade Nude. I was confused to see they only had one thing, so I asked a member of staff and they said it must have been sent to the store by accident. I was overly joyed when they said I could still buy it and they only charged me £1! This is super pigmented and is a really pretty copper shade and I can't wait to try more of these (you can buy these in boots!)

6. As I'm a massive L'oreal lover, when I saw this shade in Boots I thought I must try. I love their colour riche eye-shadows as I think they are well worth the money! This eye-shadow is in the shade 306 Smoky. It's a very pretty silver shimmer. However, I was slightly disappointed when I tried this out as it wasn't as pigmented as I had hoped/expected.

7. The next thing that I purchased was a Bourjois eye shadow smoky stories quad in the shade 06 UPSIDE BROWN. This was £7.99 from Boots. It contains some pretty shimmery nudes and browns that are easily wearable. I really like the packaging as I don't think its too bulky and it's perfect for travelling as I think it has all shades you need. The white glitter can also be used as a highlight as it's not over-powering and it's quite subtle. I'm really impressed with this quad as I think it's long-lasting and has good pigment- I will definitely be purchasing another one soon!

Overall, these are each eye-shadows swatched!
Left to right- L'oreal Smoky, Bourjois eye shadow quad, NYX nude roller ball.

8. The final thing I purchased was this Make-Up Revolution baked highlighter in the shade golden lights. I bought this on my way to Leeds from the Superdrug in the train station, at first I was a bit skeptical about trying things from this brand as I was unsure if it would alright on my skin due to it being so cheap. This highlighter was only £3 and I love it! I usually use the Balm Mary-Lou but I have been converted into using this everyday as I get so many compliments when wearing it because it's so pigmented. I was drawn to this because of how I've seen Gemma Howe raving about it, and she always wears their highlighters and they look amazing! Make sure you check out her YouTube channel and subscribe as she's great!

Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate it! I will post again as soon as I can. Please make sure you're following me on twitter- @Beautytend_
Also, if anyone can tell me why my pictures go blurry once uploaded to Blogger and how I can prevent it, it would be much appreciated!
Thanks again,
Ell xx

TOPSHOP WISHLIST: July 2015!

Wednesday 29 July 2015
Hey everyone! Seeing as I'm currently on my summer holidays, I've been doing a lot of shopping recently, some online some in store. So today I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for me to do a wishlist for one of my favourite shops- Topshop.

I have recently had a clear out in my wardrobe due to how things are no longer fitting, and I feel like these pieces of clothing would fit perfectly in my wardrobe. Each of these pieces are items what don't tend to date, meaning that you can use each year. I feel like I might have to have a sneaky trip to Topshop to try and find these items.

I personally think that this skirt is beautiful and is perfect for anytime of year. I think it's so different to anything else I've seen and is super pretty.

I'm really loving fringing at the minute as I think it's perfect for this time of year and it can go with any type of outfit and act as a statement piece.

Black tops are essential and I think this is so pretty due to the little frill bit and could perfectly with jeans, shorts, pattern trousers etc.

I have previously had a very similar pair of these jeans and I'm in desperate need for a new pair, I love them so much!

So far this summer I have practically lived in patterned shorts, this is due to how they are so simple to wear yet they still look like you've made a lot of effort. I think this pattern is so cute and pretty. This will be a definite purchase for my holidays!

I have one of these dresses in a different colour, and its perfect and I wear it so much in the summer months. I think a cute little LBD is perfect and an essential as its so easy to wear.

I've recently noticed that these tops are in fashion a lot! At first I was put off by them thinking oh god there's no way I could wear that! But now I honestly like them I think they are perfect to wear with jeans or anything like that.

I saw these trousers on Zoella ( Zoe Sugg )  and I totally fell in love with them! They are so pretty and again really easy to wear as they have so much colour in them.

I've seen a lot of people wearing these shirts as an alternative to denim jackets, and I quite like how they look over just basic t shirts with black jeans etc. It's a nice, simple, effortless look and suitable for anytime of year.

Thanks for reading, sorry this post has been a little late, I've been trying to improve things slightly. Shoutout to Sarocha for giving me some tips on things haha! You should go check out her YouTube channel, she's fabulous and so lovely! Definitely one of my favourite youtubers.
Thank you!

ST. TROPEZ IN SHOWER GRADUAL TAN REVIEW!

Tuesday 21 July 2015
As some of you may know, St. Tropez have launched the new gradual tan in shower lotion! When I first heard about this I thought I must try it as I have heard great things from others. So, while I was on my work experience at Boots I noticed how fast this tended to sell out, and when more came in stock I had to bag one!
I am very pale naturally so I don't really like the orange TOWIE look when using false tan. The idea of this new product sounded intriguing- you apply the creamy lotion to wet skin, in the shower, leaving it for three minutes, then washing it off. Then over a few hours, a hint of tan gradually appears. When washing this off, it leaves your skin feeling very soft which is always a bonus. So the first time I used it, I left it to develop over night.
Then...TA DAH! It worked wonders! It left me with bronzed skin looking extremely natural and with no streaks at all. I have no idea how this works but it really is amazing and I would totally recommend. Colour wise, it doesn't give you a dark tan, more of a golden glow! I have used this several times now and noticed the tan begin to build up darker.
I would honestly recommend this to anyone who likes the natural bronze look!
Thank you for reading, I hope you have a fab week.

Review: Collection x LITTLE MIX ALL ABOUT THE EYES PALETTE

Sunday 12 July 2015

Since I did my work experience at Boots, my eyes caught this palette and I thought it was super pretty and just perfect for summer. I had previously seen great things about this palette and since I was working there I thought it was a must.
Pros of this palette are; they are very noticeable when on the eye, they apply well, long lasting, great range of shades and very travel friend etc. The only cons of this palette is that there isn't any matte shades.I know for sure that this palette will be coming away with me this summer as I think it will be perfect!  I love the choice of colours and even though I don't tend to use black, I know that I will get plenty of use out of the other shades. My most used shade so far would be Sunkissed as I think its's just perfect for summer and such a pretty glitter. I've been using this palette for over a week and I'm extremely impressed and would totally recommend. It's only £3.19 and is such fantastic quality.
You can purchase this Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette at Boots.
Hope you're all well and had a fab week/weekend! I just want to say a massive thanks to Boots for making me so welcome on my work experience, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Have a great week!
